Overview

WOW!house is Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour’s much anticipated showhouse. To coincide with the event, we are running a series of WOW!talks to encourage insight and creative thinking that will keep our community engaged and inspired. We are thrilled that Nucleus is sponsoring The Immersive Room by Russell Sage (and is also supplying tech for other WOW!rooms). Mark Partner is designing the THG Powder Room. Ryan Clarke works closely with interior designers and thanks to Calibre Climate the showhouse will be much more comfortable than ever before. This session will be an opportunity to talk about your WOW!rooms, as well as dive into your highly creative approaches.

• The style is informal and informative, almost like a fireside chat

• The session will last 45 minutes

• The audience will be made up of design professionals, visitors to WOW!house, Livingetc readers and design enthusiasts

• Description: This session takes a practical, science-informed look at the wellness opportunity for the home integration sector. Is it all about lighting? What role does AV technology play in enhancing health and well-being throughout the home beyond dedicated fitness, meditation and yoga suites? And how can increased in the home optimise comfort and perceptions of safety and well-being?  This session will help you understand the science and language of well-being to improve dialogue and system delivery for your clients.

• Description: How and why do takeovers happen? What challenges do they produce? And how do you deal with them? Our panel of experts talk about the typical scenarios for a takeover, how to manage them and your customer’s expectations and the key tips and tricks for turning so-called ‘problem’ jobs into healthy profit centres.

Hosted by Davy Currie, this session will include a very special guest speaker to be announced soon, who will share their expert thoughts on the subject joined in discussion by some of the members of our expert panel Digital Dozen panel.

For this session we will be joined by Dan Eades, Director at Environ, custom installation and NICEIC Approved Contractors of 20 years standing; Andy Oattes, Sales Director of OneAV UK, a pan-European distribution company specialising in connectivity solutions for the residential and commercial sectors and Durgesh Sinh, founder of Nucleus a high end installation company working in the residential, corporate and military market spaces, endeavouring to deliver uncompromised installations and services to its clients.
